Clinical Surgery: 
Dr Ferrazzi has performed more than 10.000 open heart operations, including heart transplants in adults and children.

Pediatric Cardiac Surgery:
Congenital defect repair in children, including heart transplant.

Coronary Artery Surgery:
Standard Surgical treatment of coronary artery disease and chronic ischemic left ventricular dysfunction and aneurysmectomy as an alternative to transplant.

Valvular Surgery:
Aortic and mitral valve prosthetic replacement, reconstruction of mitralic and aortic valve.

Heart Failure Surgery:
Heart Transplants

Mechanical Circulatory Assistance:
Implantation of mechanical ventricular assistance devices (continuous-flow, pneumatic and electromechanical) in pediatric and adult  patients before transplant  and in cardiac function recovery.
 
Surgical Alternatives to Transplant:
Ventriculotomy  and ventricular  remodeling in patients who were not suitable candidates to transplant.

Surgical Treatment of Hypertophic Cardiomyopathy:
Extensive Myomectomy with correction of subvalvular mitralic apparatus malformations.
